Carleigh Taggart is the owner and sole practitioner of Taggart Law. She provides clients with legal representation in real estate and wills and estates. She is dedicated to each and every client and understands their needs.
Carleigh graduated law school from the University of Ottawa, and went on to article at a local law firm. Throughout law school, she worked with a prominent Toronto area law firm. Carleigh is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Prior to attending law school and making Ottawa her home, Carleigh grew up in Whitby and attended her hometown university, the Ontario Tech (formerly the University of Ontario Institute of Technology). It was there she earned her B.A. (Honours) in criminology, and graduated with highest distinction. She was a proud member of the UOIT Ridgebacks varsity women’s hockey team during her time there.
In her personal life, Carleigh is a sports enthusiast. She enjoys playing and watching virtually all sports, in addition to being a seasoned veteran of fantasy football. She was a goalie since the age of seven until hanging up the skates at the end of her undergraduate varsity hockey career. Since retiring from hockey, she continues to play golf, soccer, and is a student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Notably, she is a seven-time NFL fantasy football champion.
